back from uk!
jet lag totally sucks.
basically slept the whole of yesteday and half of today away.
i think i watched a total of 10 movies in total during the duration of the flights there and back.
let me see if i can rmb.
on the way there -

on the way back -
stick it, i not stupid 2, the road to el dorado, benchwarmers, keeping mum, thank you for smoking
ice age 2's really cute.
esp the mini sloths part.

uk was nice!
even though the city part wasnt that outstanding, but the scenery in the countryside was

we went to anfield! saw the KOP in person.
btw until now i dont know what KOP stands for.
had to endure a freaking 2 and a half hours drive to liverpool cuz john and uncle david had to get their liverpool fix.
and i was sandwiched inbetween them for the whole duration of the ride there and back cuz there wasn't enough space at the back for 8 people and the smallest person had to sit up front (due to the lack of space between the two of them)
btw, anfield sticks out like a sore thumb. cuz its built next to a not so glamourous neighbourhood.
when we parked our van, a resident told john to make sure there were no valuables left in it cuz a few days ago someone's car got smashed.
there were still all the glass bits on the road. :/
shopped at meadowhall during our 2nd and 4th days there.
it's really huge!
like 270+ shops
walked till our legs were super sore.
we were supposed to go to a farm on our 4th day but it was raining :(
so we went to meadowhall instead
anw while we were there, the team bought a boardgame called cranium.
to play when we had free time
it was really fun!
which proves not all intellectual games are boring. ;)
i think gary's bringing it for asian games.
haha.
the hotel we stayed in was not bad.
cept that there wasnt any aircon or fridge.
we were appalled when we discovered there wasnt any aircon
but it got cold enough at night to need a blanket.
i totally miss the weather there.
it was really nice!
dropped to 13 degrees during one of the days.
hehh :D
the pool was like a 5 min walk away
and it was really cool
there was a live commentary during the events
and cuz there were super alot of swimmers, like 100+ swimmers for each event
they used the over the top start
like after each heat is over the competitors stay in the pool until the next heat starts before they clear the pool.
didnt really do well for my events, except for 1500. 22sec pb. haha.
but.
still not fast enough. got to get under 17.40!
the warm up's quite crazy cuz of the sheer number of swimmers
they had to separate the warm up time into girls only and guys only.
ting and i spent a considerable amount of time at the edge of the diving pool 'sightseeing'
;) aha.
ohoh.
and i got my first ever FS 2 kneeskin.
its my first ever kneeskin
and my first ever FS 2.
but too bad they only had until size 24
it was still abit loose.
nvm.
got to grow into it!
watched a whole lot of music videos in our hotel room
there was this really irritating music video that kept popping up everytime we turned on the tv
think it was called cold as ice by this guy called nathan.
ting and i got super sick of it.
anw im quite tired of updating.
my stupid camera spoilt on me the moment we got there
so no pics, sorry.
